MusicNT is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from Indigenous women with a range of industry skills and experience to apply for membership on a new Industry Reference Group. The Reference Group will assist us in planning, coordinating, operating and evaluating our Indigenous Women’s Music Program (IWMP) and the overall Development Plan that guides our work in this area. Please refer to the attached Terms of Reference for the Reference Group, a copy of our current Women’s Music Plan and a link to MusicNT’s overall Strategic Plan or download these from our website.

Good luck to all the finalists in the Battle of the School Bands final on Friday 5 April at Darwin’s Brown’s Mart Theatre.
The Territory-wide competition included preliminary heats at Katherine High School, Tennant Creek High School, Centralian Senior College, Groote Eylandt, Rosebery Middle School and Darwin High School. This year, the competition attracted over 30 entrants from across the Territory; the highest number since the events inception.
Make sure you head down and support your favourite bands! The winning bands will perform live at the BASSINTHEGRASS Festival on Saturday 21 May 2016, alongside popular Australian artists including Angus and Julia Stone and Bliss and Eso.
