MusicNT is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from Indigenous women with a range of industry skills and experience to apply for membership on a new Industry Reference Group. The Reference Group will assist us in planning, coordinating, operating and evaluating our Indigenous Women’s Music Program (IWMP) and the overall Development Plan that guides our work in this area. Please refer to the attached Terms of Reference for the Reference Group, a copy of our current Women’s Music Plan and a link to MusicNT’s overall Strategic Plan or download these from our website.

Celebrating Women in Music

The Desert Divas and MusicNT will be launching the 2014 program with a special celebration on Sunday, February 9th from 4pm at the Club East Side in Alice Springs.
All those who have supported and participated in past programs and any young Indigenous women and girls interested in participating in the 2014 program are invited to attend. Family members are also welcome, as the event will feature family-friendly activities and entertainment, including Open Mic performances from Desert Divas (old and new), three kids play areas and chefs specials (kids eat free).
The event is an opportunity to celebrate the amazing achievements from the 2013 Desert Divas program, thank those that have supported it and share information about this year's events and workshops.
