There’s a lot of excitement about the music scene in Alice Springs after Central Australian artists cleaned up at the 2013 NT Song of the Year Awards. Now, music industry representatives from across Australia will be heading to Alice for the intune alice springs music conference to support, develop and work with local musicians and the music community.
intune alice springs is a three-day networking, skills development and showcase conference especially tailored to the Central Australian music community. There is a strong focus on outcomes for participants including building new skills and networks, securing future performances and opportunities as well as strengthening and sustaining the local music scene. Participants at intune alice springs will learn about promoting and publicising their music, music law, artist management and self-management, music publishing, royalties and more.
There are great opportunities for local musicians to showcase their skills with the intune alice springs AfterHours Showcase on Friday July 26. The showcase is a chance for musicians to perform in front of panellists from across Australia and the general public.
