10:45am - 11:30am | Community Radio

Community radio plays a key role in supporting musicians.  This session shows you how to get your music to the key tastemakers, make the most of any airplay and learn about what makes community radio so great. Facilitated by Brooke Olsen (AMRAP) with Caroline Gates (FBi Radio)Owen McKern (PBS 106.7)Anne-marie Middlemast (ABC Darwin) and Matt Bern (Territory FM).

11:30am - 12:15pm | DIY Releasing

We are in the age of independence. The label model is broken and more and more acts are creating their own destiny.  This session will give you the keys to taking charge of your career, learn from those who have done it and done it well. Facilitated by Joanna Cameron (AIR) with Stephen King (Media Arts Lawyers), Jack Tinapple (Powerfunk Records), Jen Cloher (I Manage My Music), Rowan Robinson (Ten to Two Records), Scot Crawford (Pledge Music) and Mark Grose (Skinnyfish Music).

From bedroom to the world stage - chart the journey of a band and hear some of the steps along the way from those who've worked with some of Australia's biggest bands.  This session is a must for all musicians. Facilitated by Kirsty Rivers (APRA) with Stephen King (Media Arts Lawyers | Ink Music Publishing), Bec Young (Artist Voice)Cath Haridy (Catherine Haridy Management), Stephen Green (SGC New Media Marketing) and Rowan Robinson (Ten to Two Records).

Bringing together all the players in the local music scene. Facilitated by Dr Ianto Ware (Sounds Australia) & Mark Smith (MusicNT).

3:00pm - 3:45pm | Marketing Your Music

Got the greatest album ever but no-one knows it? How do you get the message out? What are some key tips to do this on a budget? This session breaks down the hype and gives you solid steps to awakening the country to your awesomeness. Facilitator: Clara Iaccarino (Darwin Festival) with Scot Crawford (Pledge Music | Crawford Creative Services), Jen Cloher (I Manage My Music), Stephen Green (SGC New Media Marketing) and Emily Collins (Darwin Festival).

3:00pm - 3:45pm | Build a Website for Less Than $100

A website for $100!!! Yes it's true.  More and more bands need a great web presence and this session aims to give you just that.  Walk in with an idea and out with a site. Find out more about the services that the Digital Hub offers to support NT Musicians. With Justin Schmidt (Digital Hub, City of Darwin) and Alice Rae (Country Town Collective, Web-building Enthusiast).

3:45pm - 4:30pm | Artist Management

One of the key questions in a band's life is when do I need a manager? This panel seeks to answer that and give aspiring managers some hot tips to achieving success for their artists. Facilitated by Meg Willams (AAM) with Cath Haridy (Eskimo Joe, Adalita, Stephen Schram), Mark Smith (Sietta, Damn Moroda), Clara Iaccarino (Mama Kin, Tinpan Orange), Rowan Robinson (Seth Sentry, Xavier Rudd) and Buzz Bidstrup (Jimmy Little Foundation).

The festival culture is alive and well in Australia and they are still key platforms for bands to get their music out.  What are festivals and promoters looking for? How can I get a gig? Hear from influential festival bookers and booking agents. Facilitator: Clara Iaccarino (Darwin Festival) with Emily Collins (Darwin Festival), Johanna Greenway (Big Day Out), James Gough (NOOK) and Bec Young (Artist Voice).

Ever wanted to make your way to Austin for South by Southwest or Toronto for Canadian Music Week? Vanessa Hutchins returns from these festivals armed with information on how to get you and your music there. Facilitator: Vanessa Hutchins (Artback NT) with Alicia Kish (Sounds Australia).

11:30am - 12:00pm | PPCA & APRA Info Session

Ever wondered what PPCA and APRA do or what's the difference between the two? Come and meet those in the know and find about your performing and recording rights. Facilitators: Lynne Small (PPCA) and Kirsty Rivers (APRA).

11:30am - 12:15pm | How to Speak to the Media

About to drop that massive album?  Are you ready to deal with the media?  How do you make the most from every opportunity.  This session will skill you up to own any interview and help you make the media work for you. Facilitator: Jane Gazzo (Max TV - Foxtel).

Australian rock legend Adalita. For more than two decades she has been a respected and influential artist. Now you get to hear Adalita up close and personal in conversation as she reflects on life, music and song-writing. Introduction: Kirsty Rivers (APRA) Speakers: Anne-marie Middlemast (105.7 ABC Darwin) with Adalita.

2:15pm - 3:00pm | Demo Listening Session 

We are bringing back one of the most popular sessions of the conference, the DEMO listening session.  A blind listen from a panel of experts.  Get feedback on YOUR music and maybe even land a deal…
