Sounds Australia

Alicia is the Associate Producer at Sounds Australia, the national export umbrella for the Australian contemporary music industry. Sounds Australia  was established to provide a cohesive and strategic platform to assist the Australian music industry access domestic and international business opportunities. To date, Sounds Australia has undertaken activity at 51 international events across six countries, including the USA, Canada, UK, France, Singapore and India.

Before joining Sounds Australia, Alicia worked in marketing at Sydney Festival and was Label Manager at Ivy League Records (Josh Pyke, Alpine, Lanie Lane, Cloud Control, The Rubens). She co-founded management company Magic Cactus to work with The Laurels and Super Wild Horses, and lived in Ulaanabaatar for a year where she worked in marketing and communications at the Arts Council of Mongolia.
