Jonathan Notley, Bliss - Bliss n Eso

From an early stage in their career, Bliss N Eso primarily built their fan base from their compelling, energetic live performances. Their exhilarating blend of fluid rhymes and banging beats make their liveshows a brand in their own and has seen the group hailed as one of the best live acts in the country. After 4 years of consistent touring, Bliss N Eso settled down in 2004 to record their first full length album, Flowers In The Pavement. In 2006 Bliss N Eso recorded their second album, Day of the Dog, which saw the first Australian hip-hop release to debut in ARIA’s top 50. It also earned the group an ARIA nomination for Best Urban Release in 2006. Bliss N Eso have headlined at the Quiksilver Pro and Come Together, as well as playing at SXSW and the Victorian bushfire concert at the MCG to a record 92,000 punters. In Feburary 2013, the band released their first taste of their new album via a track called ‘House of Dreams’. The hugely anticipated new LP is scheduled for release on June 28, 2013. The wait is almost over.
