Fiona Carter

Fiona originally trained as a professional trumpeter, studying at the Canberra School of Music. She moved to England to study a Masters in Management and Cultural Policy at the University of Warwick and spent 3 years as Marketing Manager of the Norfolk & Norwich Festival. Fiona moved to Darwin in 2000. While based in the NT, Fiona has been Manager of several arts organisations, including Artsmark (Darwin Joint Arts Marketing), RAFT artspace and Tracks Dance Company. She has also worked for Arts NT in Darwin and Alice Springs. Fiona is passionate about Asia and has forged links with Asian artists through an Asialink Management Residency in Indonesia and volunteer work with the PETA Mekong Partnership Program in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
